A clear starting point for your beta.
Get oriented, check a small batch, and keep a portable copy of your work.
Getting access
GroupSprout is available to invited private beta testers. Contact us for access; the public website does not create an account or install the extension. Use the installation instructions supplied with your invitation and Google Chrome.
Your first capture
- Open a Facebook group you administer and go to its member requests.
- Open GroupSprout and confirm that it shows the expected group.
- Review a small selection of requests before approving them through GroupSprout.
- Check that the saved records contain the original answers you expected.
If something looks wrong, pause. Do not repeat an approval or delivery until you have checked whether the first attempt succeeded.
Connecting Google Sheets
Choose the correct Google account, spreadsheet, and tab in your beta workspace. Start with a small selection of approved records. After delivery, open the spreadsheet and verify the rows. A connection status alone does not prove the records reached the sheet.
Exports and backups
Use CSV export for a portable copy of your member records. Keep exports secure because they can contain personal information. Local browser data can be removed when you clear storage or uninstall an extension, so export important records first.
When you need help
Tell us which browser you use, the step that failed, and the message you saw. Please omit member answers, email lists, passwords, access tokens, and other sensitive details.
